Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP’s Bristol and London office are retained to advise on the letting and future strategy of Queens Arcade Shopping Centre, Cardiff.
The arcade, constructed in 1994, is a two-level covered centre totalling 140,000 sq ft (13,006 sq m) with direct access to both levels from Queen Street, Working Street and the St David’s Centre, in the heart of Cardiff’s retail centre.
The scheme has a number of notable tenants including Gap, Next, Argos, Disney, Game and The Pier and within the last twelve months 9 new retailers has been attracted to the centre. These include New Look and Footlocker, who moved into newly refurbished units, prominently flanking either side of Queens Arcade new £6 million glass entrance, completed in 2006.
