Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP's Building Consultancy with the Office team provided strategic building consultancy advice in view of Guinness Trust's requirement for a new Headquarters and their leasehold expiry of their existing Bristol office.
Following agreeing terms on a 7,000 sq ft office within a new build scheme, Building Consultancy were appointed to project manage the Guinness Trust's fit out. It was agreed due to time constraints the project should be procured on a turn key basis and our team compiled the initial design brief, space requirements and sought tenders from approved contractors. Following a two stage tender process the contractor was appointed with input required on sanctioning layout plans, finishes, the overall programme/procurement and project management of works on site including co-ordination with the Landlords.
The project was procured on time and within budget with minimal impact or inconvenience upon the relocating staff who were able to occupy and operate at day one.Client: The Guinness Trust
Guinness Trust took occupancy of their new office following completion of a fast track 12 week contract period with the decant and relocation being procured over a single weekend. Our role also extended to co-ordination of all Guinness Trust internal divisions such as IT and Comms, occupational health and informing all staff of progress and reacting to feedback. Contract value circa £350,000.
