Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP's Building Consultancy are appointed by Comptoir des Cotonniers, a prestigious French fashion house to undertake pre-acquisition building surveys on their UK nationwide business expansion including co-ordination of all sub-consultants, follow on due diligence advice and agreeing/monitoring Landlord's works.

Due to the fast nature of retail acquisitions, Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP's Building Consultancy are proactive in ensuring that early feedback is given verbally from site on the date of inspection and the issue of executive summaries ahead of the formal pre-acquisition building survey.  The latter also extends to due diligence advice in respect of asbestos management, Disability Discrimination Access requirements and asset management issues that affect the leasehold purchase.  This also includes strategic dilapidations advice in terms of their leasehold interest and term.

We also act on behalf of other high street operators such as Primark, Zadig & Voltaire, L'Oreal, Boots the Chemist and Deschamps.
