Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP is appointed to manage the 300,000 sq ft prime retail building, occupied by both retailers, following the grant of a long lease by Marks & Spencer Plc of part of the premises to Selfridges Plc. The terms of this lease demand that both parties develop a property management strategy sympathetic to each party's business endeavours.
This has required the preparation of service charge expenditure budgets, fire safety risk assessments, common evacuation plans, tenants handbook and planned maintenance programmes.
It is expected that, as the development matures, further strategies for common promotion and occupational risk assessment will be required.
