Ashfords Solicitors announces the signing of a new 10 year lease on 10,940 sq ft on the ground floor of Tower Wharf.
Having expanded over 60% in the last three years, the Ashfords Bristol team has outgrown its current offices at Bull Wharf. Notable appointments to the team in the last 12 months include new Partners in the Corporate team (Simon Staples), the Commercial Property team (Andrew Worley) and in Commercial Litigation (Andrew Baines), together with additional team recruitments following such appointments.
Commenting on the move, Andrew Betteridge, Managing Partner of Ashfords Bristol office said:
“This move reinforces Ashfords’ commitment to the Bristol market and sends a strong message to our clients. We have managed to maintain our success during the economic turmoil especially in our niche sectors and have invested significantly in the future. This move not only demonstrates our commitment to future growth for Ashfords as a firm but also demonstrates our commitment to Bristol as a commercial centre.”
Andrew Batchelor of Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP, who advised Ashfords added:
“As one of the newest buildings in Bristol, Tower Wharf was the obvious choice for Ashfords. The ground floor suite will provide a great working environment for the Ashfords Bristol Office in a great city centre location, with extensive views of the floating harbour and provides unique meeting space that opens out into a landscaped courtyard."
Tower Wharf is a prominent waterfront office building overlooking the floating harbour, centrally located in Bristol's commercial heart. It totals 70,400 sq ft and other occupiers in the building include Britannia Building Society, Oracle Corporation and The Insolvency Service.
Tower Wharf is owned by Rockspring Property Investment Managers Limited.
