Ernst & Young has agreed to take the entire third floor and part of the second floor, totalling 20,322 sq ft on a new 20 year lease.  The firm will move more than 230 employees into the new office space.

Peter Walford of Cubex said: "We are delighted to attract a company of Ernst & Young's stature to The Paragon.  Their decision to move to our building reinforces the fact that the financial and business heart of the City is now firmly established in and around Victoria Street and is a real endorsement to our view that The Paragon is the very best office building in the City."

The Paragon is one of the most prominent and striking new office buildings in the City.  It is also one of the most energy efficient and environmentally friendly having been rated 'BREEAM excellent' for the high level of sustainability incorporated in its construction and design.

Ernst & Young are due to start fitting out shortly and will be joining solicitors Thring Townsend Lee and Pembertons in The Paragon who occupy approximately 20,000 sq ft on the top two floors of the building.

The firm’s senior partner, Richard Jones, commented: "The South West and Bristol are seen as critical to Ernst & Young's growth plans in the UK and our investment in new offices sends out a strong message to the marketplace of our ambitions and commitment to the region.

"A major attraction to The Paragon was the ability to have our people based in open plan offices, maximising team work, communication and flexible working, key values that our firm support in ensuring that our people enjoy their working environment."

Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP and King Sturge advised Cubex and are jointly marketing the remaining 32,000 sq ft.  DTZ advised Ernst & Young.
