Staff at Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP, one of Bristol's leading commercial property agents, got on their bikes and joined over 5000 people in Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride on Sunday, 22nd June, just three days after the Government announced the city had been chosen as UK's first official Cycling City.

This is the 15th year the ride has been held and was the best turn out so far. The event was organised by Bristol City Council and attracted people of all ages and abilities on a wide variety of bicycles including several unicyclists and some bespoke designs. The day offered a choice of 5 rides ranging from 9 miles to 38 miles.

Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP sponsored the Family Fiesta Ride which was started by their managing partner, Andrew Batchelor, with many of the staff and their families joining him on the ride.

"The ride was such great fun and what better way to celebrate Bristol's new status as England's first official cycling city. This is the second year we at Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP have sponsored the event and it is quickly growing into one of the city's major social events of the year.

"We are delighted for Bristol that through events such as this, they have recognition nationally in securing the £11 million funding will be spent on innovative ways to promote cycling in the City. Cycling is such a great way environmentally to keep fit and we should all be encouraging more people to use it as an everyday mode of transport."
