Cafe Nero to open in Falmouth

One of the country's leading beverage brands, Cafe Nero are to open their first store in Falmouth following agreement on 10 Market Street after having to beat off competition for the unit.

Cafe Nero have some 360 stores located throughout the UK but this will be only their second store in Cornwall. They have acquired the new store from Sportdirect.com (who formerly occupied the unit trading as Gilesports) by asignment of the existing 15 year lease from 2000 at a current rental of £48,400 per annum after being invited to submit best bids.

The new store is prominently located within the town's prime retail pitch on the pedestrianised  Market Street and nearby retailers include Gul Clothing, Boots the Chemist and Marks and Spencer. It provides a ground floor sales area of 1,663 sq ft with a staff area of 176 sq ft.
