A Treble for the BSS Group Plc

The BSS Group Plc, a leading distributor to specialist trades, has extended its coverage in the Bristol region following the acquisition of three new premises.

The Company has expanded its existing PTS (Plumbing Trade Supplies) branch in Yate by acquiring Unit 5 Orchard Court which adjoins their current branch in Unit 4 Orchard Court, located on Armstrong Way forming part of the Great Western Business Park.  This has increased the size of the branch to 3,070 sq ft and a new lease was taken on both Units 4 and 5 for a 10 year period at a commencing rental of £16,500 per annum.

The second branch to open is located in Weston Super Mare, again for PTS on the established Great Weston Centre fronting the Herliun Way dual carriageway close to the new Flowerdown Retail Park.  They have acquired a new branch providing 3,366 sq ft on a new 10 year lease at a commencing rental of £27,000 per annum.

The third branch is for Buck & Hickman, part of The BSS Group's Specialist division, where they have acquired Units A and B, 126 Albert Road, st Phillips.  This branch will provide 9,985 sq ft of accommodation and has been acquired on a new 10 year lease at a commencing rental of £55,000 per annum.

PTS has branches throughout the UK extending from Helston in the South to Inverness in the North.  Buck & Hickman is the UK's leading distributor of tools, maintenance and Health and Safety products.  There is a network of 29 branches throughout the UK.
