Leading fashion retailer H & M Hennes has signed up for the new St David's 2 extension in Cardiff which is due to open in October of this year.
The 967,500 sq ft extension to the existing St David's Shopping Centre is being developed by Land Securities and Capital Shopping Centres and will be a significant addition to the existing retail facilities in Cardiff. it is to be anchored by a 225,000 sq ft John Lewis department store and will provide over 160 new shops, cafes and restaurants.
H & M Hennes have acquired the new flagship store known as MSU8 and LG60, providing frontage onto The Hayes and direct access to the upper ground floor and mezzanne levels. The store will trade on three floors and will total approximately 27,404 sq ft. the store will be located adjacent to the main entrance to the scheme and close to the new John Lewis store.
H & M has acquired the premises on a 15 year lease.
