COS, (Collection of Style) are to open a new store in the Bullring, Birmingham, its first store to be located outside London since its initial launch in 2006.
The new 6,667 sq ft store is to open in August and will provide COS with a prominent unit trading on ground and first floor level. Nearby traders include Selfridges, French Connection, Reiss, Karen Millen and Jane Norman. COS has acquired the premises on a new 10 year lease.
COS is a wholly owned subsidiary of H & M Hennes & Mauritz UK Ltd and introduces a new fashion concept for both 'men and women providing the design flair and quality of high fashion at ground level prices'. COS's first store opened in Regent Street, London and the retailer now has 16 across Europe with stores in Westfield Shopping Centre and Long Acre, Covent Garden.
The new store opening in the Bullring, Birmingham is the retailer's first regional store and they are actively looking to expand theit network throughout the UK.
