Activus, a leading supplier of application software to the international medical insurance industry, will more than double their office accommodation following their agreement to move from 8 Colston Avenue to 35 Colston Avenue in Bristol.

Activus, who after only two years have outgrown their existing offices, are moving their 50 members of staff a few feet up the road to 35 Colston Avenue to occupy the entire first floor providing some 5,326 sq ft.   The new offices have recently been refurbished to a good quality incorporating air conditioning, low glare lighting, modern reception and secure well lit on-site car park.

Activus has acquired the suite on a new lease for a term expiring March 2013 at a rental equating to £13.75 per sq ft.

Natalie Bennet of Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP said: "It is really encouraging that a firm such as Activus, who are continuing to expand, is able to take advantage of the more competitive terms on offer for office accommodation in this difficult market.  35 Colston Avenue offers good quality refurbished offices with an eye catching promotion of 'bring us your best deal and we'll beat it', subject to status.  This shows that 35 Colston Avenue is offering such good value for money within the city and it was an opportunity not to be missed."
The building has a further refurbished floor of 5,265 sq ft  with an additional 18,244 sq ft available to be refurbished in due course.

Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP advised the head tenants, Bevan Brittan LLP, jointly with Colliers CRE.
