The pandemic has resulted in office occupiers’ demands transforming to include the needs of employees who are re-adjusting back to office working after 18 months at home. Our Office Agency Partner, Chris Grazier, shared his thoughts with Property Week on the trends that he has witnessed first-hand in the market, as we emerge from the pandemic.
The pandemic has resulted in many prioritising the amount of space that they can offer employees. Chris commented,
“[Covid] will be the death knell for cheap, high-density floorplates. Better-quality working environments are going to be the biggest win from [the Covid pandemic] because the occupier base is prepared to fund it by taking on better-quality accommodation….”
