Inditex instructed Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP to advise on the lease restructure and rental appraisal of their Zara and Massimo Dutti stores in the Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
With passing rents of over £1 million per annum, we were required to provide advice in respect of lease values as they existed, along with the regeared option that was available for future occupation, combining the two units under a single and extended arrangement.
Our experience in valuing large shop units within prime shopping centres was key to providing advice on the larger merged store and this in turn was crucial for our clients in the decision making process that saw the transaction through to completion.
